The Pedalock is an innovative new design that integrates a detachable bicycle pedal with an in-built lock. The custom machined lock has been designed to fit within the dimensions of a bicycle pedal making it available for the cyclist at all times. The Pedalock is designed to help in the prevention of bicycle theft by removing the opportunity and desire to steal. This is achieved by incorporating the removal of the pedal into the design of the lock.

hence if the lock were to be breached the thief would be left with a pedal-les bicycle, which greatly reduces its desirability, as it is now far harder to cycle away.
