OysterBike Hire Scheme
Prada:
This product is part of Prada’s new Fashion Technology brand, which uses Radio Frequency Identification technology
to make payments and gain exclusive access to events.
Major Project:
With over 80 000 bicycles stolen in London last year; Transport For London is trying to give the public an incentive
to use bicycles rather than public transport or driving.
The project is an Oyster card activated bicycle hire system for Transport For London. The bicycles are provided to the public by TFL at several docking stations located around London.
The user is able to swipe in/out these bicycles, allowing them to avoid high traffic levels, carrying a burdensome lock as well as not having to worry about the bicycle being stolen.
Tsunami Axis Render:
Completed while on a 10 month placement using 3DSMax.
