INDUSTRIAL DESIGN ENGINEERING BSc

During my years spent at Brunel University reading Design and Engineering and a year in industry spent at MKW Engineering, I have had the opportunity to use a number of approaches to design engineered products and developed my design skills to a high level. The products and projects that I have worked on have helped me to mature. Some of my designs are already out in the market place, and the future, based on this sound and wide-ranging foundation can only improve and I hope will be fantastic.

sam - MP3 and Communication device

“sam” is a unique device for young adults, aged 17 to 24 years, suffering from Cerebral Palsy who want music easily to hand. Primarily, this is a stylishly designed MP3 entertainment system for those with fine motor problems. It also holds four everyday messages, digitally stored and easily re-recorded, to help the user achieve a sense of independence. In addition, for emergency situations, the user activates a set of key, help messages from function buttons illuminated by changing the state of the device.
