Design, in the modern sense of the word, is no single entity, but rather a bespoke series of processes that are required to develop the best possible solution to a problem. In this way designers must constantly adapt and learn new processes and technologies to deal with this diversity.

At the same time the consumer is becoming ever more knowledgeable about the products they buy. Consumers are looking for perfection in all areas of a product, designers must satisfy that need.

Lingo

A device that translates both audio and photographic content into any language, enabling the user to communicate with people whilst travelling the world. The brief was to develop a product for the infamous Red Bull brand which would focus on vitalising the mind of the user whilst encouraging them to explore the world around them. Red Bull gives you wi-ings.

Unlike any 'ironing' product that has gone before it, 'ion' removes the creases from clothes without the need for an ironing board. By using two hot plates which are magnetically coupled, heat and pressure are applied to both sides of the fabric resulting in a more efficient removal of creases.
