I am passionate about mobile technology, and specifically making it easier for consumers to access great content. This emerging multimedia discipline is extremely exciting, and I hope that as a Brunel multimedia graduate, I will have the chance to help shape its future.

Snap it, Tag it, MMS it - zeo° is a user-generated content application that allows consumers to upload, search and safely purchase mobile wallpapers, videos and sound clips.

Share Your Mobile Media - By sending content via MMS, it is very easy to upload direct from handsets to zeo°. All content is 'tagged' with keywords by the user, so others can find it easily.

With revenues of $42 billion predicted by 2006, mobile content is a huge growth industry. However, whilst sales have soared, the user experience has remained poor. Confusion between shortcodes, keywords, pricing and illusive subscription services that cannot be stopped, has caused many consumers to become wary. Although strides have been made to protect consumers, such as much stricter regulations on subscription services, no notable advances have been made in making services easier to use.

zeo° is an installable PC application that allows users to share and discover user-generated mobile media, such as sound recordings, video clips and images. Through the use of MMS technology, users can simply send in their content and relevant metadata ('tags'), direct from a mobile handset, and it will appear in the application, ready for purchase by other users.
