2010: Innovation that Works
The theme of Made in Brunel in 2010 is Innovation that Works.
Made in Brunel represents some of the best graduating design and engineering talent in the UK. In 2010 Made in Brunel will build on the successes of previous years, returning to the Business Design Centre in London on the 8th, 9th and 10th of June to showcase this talent.
With this year's focus on networking, the show will become a destination for consumers, producers and service providers alike, to meet the new up and coming generation of designers from Brunel. It attracts people from across the industry spectrum, whether product or service focused, wanting to network with the young innovators shaping the future.
Innovation that Works
In a simple breakdown, we can be described as:
- Togetherness - The brand has to shine through the value of working as one. This is about us; individual unique thinkers coming together and showcasing our talent.
- Networking - The brand is about making connections and meeting people. We want to bring together fascinating thinkers and doers and become an interesting resource for these professionals.
- Straight Forward - We've taken a no-nonsense approach with the branding so that there is an immediate understanding and connection with the brand. We are easy to understand, we are direct.
- Innovation - The brand is cutting edge and creative. We are inventive and intuitive. We don't just innovate; we make our designs a reality.
Innovation that Works highlights a need for intelligent design with sound technological and structured thought. The ability of our graduates to work to such detail in all aspects of design is the driving force of Made in Brunel, and we are dedicated to providing a platform to showcase them.
Thanks to the continuing help from our supporters we are able to achieve our ambitious goals.
